From Puppy Yoga to Mermaid Swimming: 8 Unique Classes You Can Take at Hotels

If you get bored after the second day of lounging on the beach, look for a hotel that offers fun classes for guests. These eight resorts offer unique classes that are worth traveling for. Just be warned: You may return home with a new hobby—or even a new pet!

Puppy Yoga: Eden Roc Miami Beach

Warning: you may check out of the Eden Roc Miami Beach with some very adorable extra baggage. Every other month the hotel hosts puppy yoga classes in their Spa Garden, where both human and animal participants can engage in some deep downward dog stretches.

Fall in love with a fellow attendee? All of the puppies in the classes are available for adoption from the nonprofit Animal Lovers Rescue.

Want to go off-roading but don’t have the right vehicle? (Or just don’t want to wash your car afterwards?) Sign up for the Land Rover Driving Experience at the Equinox Resort & Spa where you can play with someone else’s SUV.

You’ll get to drive a Land Rover through an 11-mile obstacle course in Vermont’s beautiful Green Mountains that includes water crossings, rock crawls, side-tilts, and more.

Falconry: The Broadmoor Resort

Nicknamed “The Sport of Kings”, falconry isn’t a hobby reserved for royalty any longer. Give it a try at Colorado’s Broadmoor Resort, where you can interact with birds of prey including owls, falcons, and hawks.

If you want to level up, follow up the beginner lesson with an intermediate class, where you’ll actually get to try flying one of the birds.
